A heat warning was issued Monday afternoon for Windsor and Essex County, where the temperature was 27 C shortly before 3:30 p.m.
The forecast high for Monday was 31 C with a Humidex of 37 C.
The high is forecast to be 33 C Wednesday and Thursday and 34 C on Friday.
