Pelee Island ferry service could be delayed Thursday and Friday because of high winds.
On Wednesday, the ferry company tweeted this message: “Ferry Service alert: possibility of service disruptions on Thursday and Friday due to weather conditions (gale force winds forecasted).”
The Jiimaan and Pelee islander travel to Pelee Island up to four times a day. Though the ferries did not stop because of weather this summer, November is known for high winds that have occasionally delayed the service in the past.
