The Charles Clark Square skating rink is closed for the rest of the season.
The city says the closure takes effect immediately.
“Repeated bouts of unseasonably warm weather and rain have reduced the ice surface to a state that cannot be safely and consistently rehabilitated before spring arrives in earnest later this month,” the city said in a press release.
Free public skating and ice rentals continue at Lanspeary Lions rink until Saturday, March 5, weather permitting.
