The heat continues: Environment Canada issues warning for Windsor-Essex

Environment Canada has issued a heat warning for Windsor and Essex County.

Daytime high temperatures are expected to be in the low 30s on Sunday with maximum humidex values near 40C, according to the national weather agency.

This heat should be sticking around as Environment Canada forecasts highs in the upper 20s throughout next week.

This the area’s third day in a row with some type of heat warning. Environment Canada also issued a heat warning Saturday and the public health unit issued a Level 1 heat alert on Friday.
