A total of 1,206 Hydro One customers in Tecumseh experienced power outages on Monday night.
The affected area stretched from Banwell Road to beyond Patillo Road, and from the southern edge of McAuliffe Park north to Old Tecumseh Road.
As of 10:45 p.m., Hydro One said the cause of the outages remained under investigation.
Hydro One estimated that power would be restored 2 a.m.
Also affected by outages were 77 customers in an area just east of Amherstburg. Hydro One said the cause of that incident was equipment failure. Power was restored for those customers around 10:45 p.m.
The outages occurred during the most frigid temperatures Windsor-Essex has experienced so far this season.
